Noris Diaz Perez is a model from Puerto Rico better known as "La Taina." La Taina became famous in PR during the 2000s before becoming sick and retiring from television. In 2011 she announced that she is HIV positive. She blames HIV related illnesses and conditions for forcing her out of modeling and television. She became ill in 2006 and went to the hospital for a number of issues including headaches.
